ISLE of MAN TT Circuit Map & Facts Well here is an interesting story in 1978 my wife was set to compete with her race partner in the side car event of the Isle of Man TT races in 1978, sadly her friend died, in an unrelated accident. The trauma was so bad she never raced competitively again. So her possible claim to fame never happened. However, in 2024 some 46 years later my wife took me on her Ducati around the TT Circuit, at a very sensible speed, I might add. Half race speed and I’m petrified! Don’t ask what colour my leathers were! Let’s just say I was shaking an hour later, wife’s words, wimp! My argument back was, how do you know what’s half race speed if you have never raced there. “Got yer” Yep I lost that one. This sedate trip around the TT circuit enabled me to take the photographs used in this image and to collect valuable data. I have drawn all images and logos myself. My sister, who is into fantasy drawings, produced the fairy in the image on the motorbike. Say hello to the fairies! The photographs at Joey Dunlop memorial and other sites en-route have been taken by me. I really hope that I have recorded the correct information, any important errors or emissions are greatly appreciated.
